All the excitement about the proposed bicycle paths and infrastructure etc. is really good. But, once again, I must be low on my meds as bits, here and there, ring familiar. Alan Lander’s Noosa News piece turned on the light bulb.
Back in 2011 that pesky Noosa Biosphere Reserve lot had a submission to Queensland Regional Development for walking and cycle trails across both biospheres and Fraser Island. Both biospheres being Noosa Biosphere and Great Sandy Biosphere which, incidentally, are the only two biospheres in the world to share a common border, thereby facilitating the proposed network across a geography of extraordinary diversity.
I now await the third dose of déjà vu to strike to perhaps prove a bundle of old ideas just fell off the back of a truck during the clean out of Noosa Biosphere Reserve v1 and are now being refreshed. Great if they are.
